Playly

Terms of Use

These are the rules for using Playly. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. They sit alongside the Privacy page, which says what Playly keeps and who can see it.

Who Playly is for

Playly is for parents and guardians, aged 18 or over, arranging playdates for their own children. Children do not have accounts. Each adult uses their own login.

What is not allowed

There is no tolerance for abuse. Accounts that do any of the following are removed:

Reporting and blocking

If a family writes or shares something that breaks these rules, report them: on Friends, tap the family and choose Report, or on a playdate tap "Report or block a family". You can block them there too, so neither of you can find the other, and any playdates you share end.

Every report is read by a person, usually within a day. Content and accounts that break these rules are removed, and anything suggesting a child is in danger is passed to the police.

What you post

You are responsible for what you write and share, and you keep ownership of it. You allow Playly to store it and show it to the families you share it with, only to run the app.

Your account

You sign in with your email (with a link, a code or a password) or with Apple, so keep your email account secure, and choose a password you don't use anywhere else. You can delete your Playly account at any time in Settings.

Playdates themselves

Playly helps families find a time; the families arrange and supervise the playdate. Playly is not responsible for what happens at one. Children should be supervised by a parent or guardian as they would be at any playdate.

The service

Playly is provided as it is, and may change or stop. We work to keep it running and your information safe, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. If you got Playly from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies.

Changes

If these terms change, this page will say so and show the date. Questions: hello@playlyapp.com.
